Boehm’s Candies is hiring!

We are a small, family owned business looking for reliable and hardworking help now, through the holidays, and beyond (depending on the position).  Boehm’s has been in Issaquah for over 65 years.  We pride ourselves in quality product, exceptional service, and a fast paced and dynamic place to work.  Being a small business, each position must also have the flexibility to adapt and take on other duties when needed.  A high level of multi-tasking is a must! 

We’re accepting applications for both part and full time positions with either an immediate or delayed start.  A minimum of 16 hours per week is required for any position, with weekend availability a plus!

Available Positions:

  • Assistant Sales Manager
    • Part or Full time, 6-month minimum commitment with preference for year-round employment, immediate start.
    • Greet customers, give friendly and efficient service, restock storefront, small packaging projects when slow, assist Sales Manager with daily tasks and implementations of projects and procedures.  Minimum five-hour shift during daytime core hours, three days a week (with a preference to someone who can do an additional short shift on a weekend day). 
  • Will Call/Mail Order/Shipping
    • Part or Full time, with minimum 6-month commitment
      • Adults – part or full time, daytime shift available with an immediate start for year-round employment
      • Youth 15 and up, daily shifts starting October through mid-February, possibly extended through Easter of 2023 or beyond to year-round employment
    • Pull and fulfill order tickets, assist customers in picking up their pre-ordered purchases, answer the phone, take mail orders when needed, small projects when not busy, package and ship out mail orders
    • Must learn salesclerk position to adequately perform this job
  • Office/Admin/Personal Assistant
    • 20-35 hours per week during weekdays, 6-month minimum with preference for year-round employment, immediate start
    • Filing, errands, answering the phone, daily deposits, emails, misc. office and assistant duties.  Must be proficient in Excel and Word.  Basic QuickBooks knowledge a plus.
